2008 Chinese New Year

Hello there, I may be a bit outdated but thot it will be good to share our Chinese New Year pictures in my blog. As usual, I celebrate my Chinese New Year at my God Father's house in Jalan Damai, Ampang. Love the house, really huge, with pool and gym. Gosh, wonder when I can have such a house. Okay then, enjoy the pictures :)

Casualty on the road

Good morning everyone! It is another day of the week. Wow! Time really flies, unfortunately some people just did not make it until today. Just want to share with everyone on what had happened last evening on my way back home at Jln Genting Kelang near UTAR campus. It was a real long bumper to bumper crawl yesterday when I reached the traffic light going towards the Jalan Genting Klang army camp. First thought was that must be an accident as I have witnessed quite a number there, however, no casualties. Then from a far, I saw the police siren light on and thot probably there is a road block instead. Heart pounded, beating fast as I reached towards the accident spot, I saw a Rescue 999 vehicle in the middle of the road, diverting the vehicles towards the left lane. Then, I thot this does not look good. I then looked on the road, there was a body there, covered with the police black sheet with blood oozing from the body and a motorbike lying on the road. I then remembered God and thank Him for letting me through the day. At the same time, I was asking myself "Was it an UTAR student or another young life that has perished?", "Do they know whose son/daughter is that?" and I pray to God that my life would not end up that way. To all my friends who have friends or children who ride on motorbikes, please advise them to be careful at all times and do not speed on the road or use the anti-traffic flow. We may be able to save another life on the road. Warm regards

Nasi Bukhara

Hi everyone! This is my first post for the year (gosh, really backward hey?). Had a very sumptous lunch at Tamij today. The nasi bukhara is really a goodie yummie meal that you guys have to try. Well, heard that it came out in Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan recenlty. Okay, it is time now to work after a good 2-hr break. Wishing all of you a gud weekend.
